About 3,000 people passed through the Pueblo Marinero between 10:00 and

19:00 to visit some of the sales proposals or

participate in the exhibitions of oriental arts. Among the curious

was the Spanish actor Eduardo Gómez, known for his role

as the father of the doorman in the television series "Aquí no hay quién viva".

The mayor of Teguise, Juan Pedro Hernández, also attended this health fair organized by the council for various reasons. First, to bring the residents of Costa Teguise closer to a healthy lifestyle; and also, to give a good image of Costa Teguise to tourists as a quality and differentiated destination.

In addition to artisans, the thousands of visitors found

mainly herbalist and organic products. They could also

enjoy massage areas (craniosacral, reflexology....) or the one intended for workshops and consultations on naturopathy, chromotherapy, iridology, among other disciplines. In three tents,

demonstrations of different oriental relaxation arts were held, while

theoretical-practical advice was offered to learn the secrets of

macrobiotic cuisine.

A special part of this Fair was the participation of children. The

storytelling was the vehicle chosen to try to transmit values

around the relevance of eating well and how important it is to fight or

report cases of school violence. This was disseminated through the

"healthy gymkhana" and the "sanote" team.

About thirty companies and hotels participated in the II Costa Teguise Wellness Fair,

including Beatriz Spa, Aloevital, Café Jaleo,

Academia Vital Dent, Remeter, Ashtanga Yoga, Centro Spiral, Metamorfosis,

Atemterapia, Centro Energético, Asociación Tanganilla y de Respiración or

Finca Tisalaya, among others. The event demonstrated the consolidation of a

proposal that enjoyed the approval of many visitors.
