A mallet of rattles, a face in trance and a wrapping made with soap bubbles, bright, slippery and decomposed into greens. Facto Delafé y Las Flores Azules has been the group that stars in the dreamlike photograph that has won the I Costa de Fotos Contest, entitled "Factodelafé". The author was the photographer Adriel Perdomo, and his prize was a trip to Gran Canaria for two people (plane ticket and hotel) to attend WOMAD in addition to 2 VIP passes for the festival.
The silver medal (and a weekend for two people at the hotel
Sands Beach in Costa Teguise, plus a voucher worth 100 euros to
spend at the Suspicious Style store) for the photographer from neighboring
Fuerteventura, Carlos de Saa, for "Agustísimo", a portrait of a spectator in full moment of pleasant introspection or musical ecstasy.
The third chosen was "Black and White", by Alejandra Pozo. A painting
painted with the camera during the performance of Krakovia. With crests,
scarves and lips in the dark, and a black and white that confuses everything (or explains it) Pozo takes a bonus of 100 euros to buy clothes at Suspicious Style.
Precisely the facilities of this fashion store will host the Costa de Fotos exhibition (a selection of 20 photographs). The opening of the exhibition will coincide with the opening of the store, on Friday, October 17 from 7:00 p.m. (C/ Otilia Díaz, 14; Arrecife). The person in charge of the music, Doctor Love, guarantees the atmosphere.
The jury, composed of the organization of Costa de Músicas and several professional photographers, met on Monday, October 13 to choose the three best portraits of the Festival. Moments and winks that occurred at some point on September 26 and 27 in Playa Bastián.
