The movement ParaLaGuerra.es, formed by a hundred organizations and thousands of Culture professionals, calls for gatherings throughout the country, in up to 85 towns to denounce the breach of the Ceasefire by Israel and the murders of innocents that they are committing in recent days, aggravating the genocide that has been committing.
The gatherings will demand the Definitive Ceasefire, around the slogan that unites those who participate in PararLaGuerra.es: For a Just Peace (Free Palestine). Definitive Ceasefire. Neither Terrorism Nor Genocide.
In Madrid, the gathering will be accompanied by an action whose main support is Culture, forming a giant image with the designs elaborated by recognized Graffiti artists from different parts of the country, interpreting in each of them, the 'mother of Guernica'. This action will be accompanied by an exhibition of works of art for Peace.
In different proportions, the artists' designs will be exhibited in all the towns in the country where possible.
In the statement issued this Wednesday, PararLaGuerra.es strongly condemns the aggressions and the detention suffered by the Palestinian director Hamdan Ballal, who recently won the Oscar together with the Israeli director, Yuval Abraham. "For every artist who is attacked, detained or murdered, a hundred of us will rise up in Spain to respond. We hope that Ballal returns home safe and sound."
