The expected rains have already started to fall in different areas of Lanzarote and La Graciosa this Sunday and are leaving a winter image in towns like Tao, Guinate or Pedro Barba, as can be seen in the images.
These precipitations, which may be weak to moderate, will continue until Wednesday morning. The rains have already left large puddles and, in the case of La Graciosa, small ravines in its streets of jable.
So far, in the records of Lanzarote, 10 liters per square meter stand out in the interior of the island or more than six liters per square meter in La Graciosa until 4:00 p.m. this Sunday.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow warning for rain for this Tuesday, March 4 on the island, from 3:00 p.m. to 00:00 on Wednesday. Up to 15 liters per square meter could fall in one hour.
