Medio Ambiente Lanzarote has denounced new graffiti on the stones of Caleta de Famara. Images that they have decided to publish on social networks to raise awareness among the population of the damage to natural heritage that this entails.

On this occasion, the damage has been caused to some of the stones placed in the Famara Urbanization. From the Lanzarote Council Area, they have made public the photographs in which some drawings can be seen in various colors that occupy the stone path that leads to the urbanization.

"Don't let your artistic concerns end up damaging the natural values of a Protected Natural Space", they have accompanied the images with a warning to all citizens and tourists of the island. Among the users of X (formerly Twitter) there has been a disparity of opinions regarding the damage that has occurred. Some have demanded more information for people who visit the island and others have not been so surprised. "They are just stones, let's not freak out", commented a user of the social network.
