Local Police officers from Tías arrested Ali M. and Errati B., both from Morocco, early this Friday morning as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with violence against persons.

A police statement explains that the arrests occurred after a subject of Irish origin requested the agents and stated that he had just been attacked by two young men who had approached him in the street.

The complainant said that they had surrounded him and pulled his pants to steal a wallet with 70 euros, and then fled the scene.

The agents carried out several patrols in the area accompanied by the victim until they found the two young men. After proceeding to their identification and finding in their possession the amount of cash that the complainant said had been stolen, the two individuals were arrested and placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
