Two Civil Guards assigned to the Main Post of Tías who were off duty arrested on the 3rd two people with initials A.T.F. -50 years old and with a criminal record- and E.C.E.R. -34 years old and with a criminal record- as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with force in things in the degree of attempt, after breaking the alarm system of some sports shoes in a store in a shopping center in Puerto del Carmen and trying to escape with them.
The agents were with their families in the shopping center when they observed from the outside A.T.F. manipulating the alarm system of the box where the aforementioned shoes were located. Then, he went outside and tried to escape by getting into a car driven by E.C.E.R., who was previously standing at the door of the premises waiting for the indication of the first to look for the vehicle and wait for him in the back street of the store, at which point both were intercepted and arrested by the agents, who returned the stolen object to the establishment.
The investigated have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court in charge of Arrecife.
