Two more boats arrive in Lanzarote on their own

One to the Reducto area in Arrecife and another to Las Cocinitas in the north

Two boats have reached the coasts of Lanzarote on their own this Sunday, according to CECOES.

The first of them arrived in the Reducto area at around 1:15 p.m., once all its occupants reached land they ran away. The National Police has located six of the migrants, and they have stated that there were about 15 people in the zodiac. The Red Cross assisted six men on land, all in apparent good health.

Later, at around 2:34 p.m., CECOES received an alert from the Local Police in the north about the arrival of a boat with about thirty people in the Las Cocinitas area near Jameos del Agua. Agents of the Civil Guard have traveled there and have deployed a search device for the people who came on it. So far 36 people have been located. 

The Red Cross and the Canary Emergency Service attended to 36 people, including two minors. All were in good condition and only one adult male had to be transferred to a hospital center for having pain in one leg.
