A few minutes after the accident involving two cars on Tinache Street in Arrecife, another one took place on Taro Street in Argana Baja.
The incident occurred around 08:22 hours. In this case, only one car was involved, "although it caused damage to another vehicle that was parked," as explained by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium.
The two occupants of the vehicle, two young people, were trapped inside the car, so firefighters also had to intervene to open the vehicle for them.
"Fortunately, neither of them had serious injuries," they explained from the Consortium, although they were transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
