National Police agents have arrested two men, aged 28 and 54, in Arrecife, of Bissau-Guinean nationality, one of them with a police record, as alleged perpetrators of a drug trafficking crime.
The arrests occurred after the National Police, in the "constant" controls over the black spots of sales of narcotic substances carried out, detected a possible point of sale of drugs in the vicinity of a home located in the capital of Lanzarote.
From it, two individuals allegedly sold cocaine to numerous consumers who came to the place. The police investigation allowed to unequivocally identify two men aged 28 and 54 years and Bissau-Guinean nationality, as the alleged sellers of the narcotic substance.
With the mandatory judicial order, the agents carried out a search in the home of the investigated in which 911 grams of cocaine were seized, which were hidden inside several garments and shoes. In addition, the national police officers seized several mobile phones, a laptop, a precision scale and 19,345 euros.
The police operation ended with the arrest of the two men as alleged perpetrators of a drug trafficking crime. After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainees were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
