Two people were involved in a traffic accident in which a car and a van collided at approximately 10:00 a.m. this Thursday on the Puerto del Carmen ring road, about 300 meters from Rancho Texas.
According to data provided by the NGOs Red Cross and Emerlan, alerted about the event at 09:52 hours, the collision, almost head-on between the two vehicles, forced the transfer to the General Hospital of a 25-year-old woman who presented abdominal pain, as well as the evacuation of a 41-year-old man, injured in his right leg.
One of the two vehicles was overturned on the road. The Local Police of Tías appeared at the scene to control traffic and instruct the corresponding procedures.
