An 82-year-old man and his 80-year-old wife had to be rescued this Sunday by lifeguards on La Garita beach after falling into the water in a rocky area, reports the Security and Emergency Consortium.
According to the Emergency Consortium, the two English bathers were trying to enter the beach through an area near the rocks and with a lot of waves, at which point one of the waves hits them, they fall into the water and end up submerged in the sea.
Immediately, the lifeguards noticed the incident and rushed to rescue the two bathers, grabbing them by the arms to get them to safety.
