Two arrested in Fuerteventura for various robberies

One of the detainees had two Search and Imprisonment Orders from Almería and Valencia

The Civil Guard of Morro Jable has arrested the males B.R.C., 37 years old, from Valencia, and R.S.M., 35 years old and from Las Palmas, accused of several crimes of Robbery with Force.

According to a statement from the Armed Institute, both were located on Solana del Matorral Avenue (Pájara), when they were traveling in a Peugeot 306 car that was intercepted when they tried to flee from a Civil Guard patrol.

These two criminals, considered "expert and skilled specialists" in stripping telephone booths, were discovered carrying various utensils and tools (drill, drill bits, cables and wires) inside the trunk of the vehicle, which were seized along with a large quantity of coins and 800 euros in fractional bills.

The first detainee (B.R.C.) currently had a search, arrest and imprisonment order from the Criminal Court Number 2 of Almería, and another similar order from the Criminal Court Number 13 of Valencia.

The aforementioned had previously been arrested by the Civil Guard in Vecindario, Agaete and in different places in the Peninsula such as Picaña (Valencia), Vera (Almería), Cuevas de Almanzora (Almería), etc.

The Civil Guard has verified that they are the perpetrators of an undetermined number of robberies perpetrated in telephone terminals, acting with great geographical mobility committing a diversity of criminal acts both in Fuerteventura and in the municipalities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Telde, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Mogán, Arucas, Agüimes, etc... in addition to having confirmed their presence in the province of Tenerife, for which they were being sought by the State Security Forces and Corps.
