Agents of the National Police have arrested in Arrecife two men and a minor, aged between 17 and 22 years old, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force in a car dealership in Arrecife. Two of the arrested also have police records.
The events unfolded after a call to the 091 telephone number from an alarm center, reporting that they observed three individuals inside a dealership.
The agents who went to the scene interviewed the owner of the warehouse, who stated that unknown persons had accessed the interior through a hole in the roof and a ram raid on one of the doors of the warehouse, taking the keys to a motorcycle that was inside. At the scene, the agents also located a black mask, a saw, and adhesive tape.
The agents thus initiated a search that allowed the immediate location and arrest of the alleged perpetrators, who turned out to be three men, one of them a minor, aged between 17 and 22 years old. Along with the detainees, the police agents seized the stolen keys from one of the motorcycles in the dealership.
After verifying that one of them was a minor, the police officers brought all the facts to the attention of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detained adults were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
