In the early hours of last Monday, while the agents of the Local Police of San Bartolomé were providing surveillance service in the town of Playa Honda, they received a notice about a possible robbery in a minimarket in Playa Honda. Once they arrived at the place, they found two individuals manipulating the access door to it, fleeing when they noticed the police presence, managing to be intercepted a few meters from the place.
The agents were forced to reduce them since they did not cooperate, maintaining an aggressive attitude. Once arrested, the agents verified how the premises had the glass door broken and the metal shutter forced and ajar, finding inside a iron cutter and a sock that matched the one missing from one of the detainees, as well as the same's bloody hands, supposedly the injuries were caused by the glass.
After learning that there were three people (since minutes before they had seen three suspicious individuals in a white van in the vicinity of the premises), the agents were able to verify that the vehicle was parked a few meters away, so they proceeded to check the vehicle. As they approached the van, the third individual ran out but was intercepted by the agents. Once all the necessary information was collected, they were transferred to police headquarters, instructing the corresponding procedures and being placed at the disposal of the Civil Guard of San Bartolomé together with the objects found at the place as well as the vehicle used since its ownership did not correspond to them.
The detainees are three men, A.M.M., V.R.F.R, natives of Lanzarote and J.A.L.D native of La Palma.
