The tires of four cars belonging to members of Los Simplones were found slashed this Saturday in front of the group's headquarters in Arrecife. The incident occurred while Los Simplones were performing at the bullring in Puerto del Carmen this past Saturday. According to one of its members, the vandalism had to occur between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The events have already been reported to the National Police of Arrecife.
"They had them selected, because in a row of 20 cars, they slashed the tires of just four, precisely the vehicle of the director, the president, the former founder, and another member," explains one of the members of Los Simplones.
The musical group, which this year won the Arrecife Carnival contest, prefers not to comment further while waiting for the National Police to investigate the case. "If anyone saw anything, we would like them to provide information to the police," Los Simplones requests.
The place where these events occurred is right next to the headquarters that the group has on Mastelero Street number 2, in Puerto Naos.
