Personnel from the Canary Emergency Service have managed to recover a 74-year-old man from cardiorespiratory arrest in Puerto del Carmen. The incident occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. this Monday, when a witness called 112 alerting that this person was suffering an arrest on public roads.
Two ambulances from the SUC were transferred to the scene, one medicalized and the other with basic life support, and the paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers until they managed to recover him.
Once stabilized, the man was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital "in serious condition".
Agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police of Tías also went to the scene, who collaborated with the health emergency service.
