The Emergency Consortium continues its unsuccessful search for Sebastián Klastternik, the 26-year-old who disappeared in Los Charcones in Playa Blanca.
The manager of the Consortium, Enrique Espinosa, points out that "the Civil Guard is still investigating the disappearance. "Nobody finds anything. We have no record of anything, only that the gentleman from a bar saw him walking in the area. He said he knew him and that he walked there every day. But the area to be covered is very large and the strongest hypothesis is that he has fallen into the sea", adds Espinosa.
"Now Maritime Rescue continues with the notice to sailors of a missing person. Salvamar is doing the triangulations and derivations of the tides to find out where the body could be. After days of rough seas and now that the water is cold, it may take longer for the body to emerge. Or it could be trapped in a cave, but since the area is so large, it is difficult for the GEAS divers to carry out an immersion", explains the manager of the Consortium.
The missing young man is a Czech national residing in the tourist town. It was his roommate who reported his disappearance this Wednesday to the Civil Guard of Yaiza, explaining that he left at around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, for a walk and did not return.
