The woman who died this Monday morning as a result of her vehicle overturning on the LZ-2 had previously collided with another car. This has been confirmed by the Civil Guard, which is now in charge of investigating what happened. According to reports, the 60-year-old woman had hit the vehicle in front of her from behind and then left the road.

The other vehicle was driven by another woman, who, according to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security, was slightly injured. Initially, only one person was reported to be involved in the accident and was attended to by paramedics. It was not until an hour after the accident that the 1-1-2 received a request from the Civil Guard to send another ambulance to the scene, on the LZ-2 road at the height of the cable, towards Arrecife.

The driver of the vehicle that collided with the car in front of her left the road in a spectacular rollover. As a result, she suffered severe head trauma which, despite the efforts of the medical teams, caused her death. Thus, the Benemérita has explained that, through the autopsy, she will be given "the corresponding analysis" and see "why she lost consciousness" or something happened that made her lose control of the vehicle.
