The National Police has reported on the operation carried out jointly with agents of the Local Police of Arrecife in La Oveja Verde last May. According to them, it was the dismantling of "a point of sale and distribution of narcotic substances" in which four men between the ages of 26 and 37 were arrested, all of them without police records, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health. The detainees were allegedly linked to the association. All of them were released provisionally without bail after testifying before the judge on May 19.
In the search of the premises, 4 kilos of hashish, 1.1 kilos of marijuana and 280 grams of hashish pollen, as well as 3,100 euros in cash, have been seized. The investigation was initiated by agents of the Local Police of Arrecife, after learning of the possible sale and distribution of narcotic substances in a premises in the capital of Lanzarote, belonging to an association.
The police officers were able to verify how from the aforementioned establishment, which was located near a public park as well as a primary school, narcotic substances were allegedly distributed among the individuals who went there.
