The Local Police of Arrecife has rescued two dogs that were in poor condition, surrounded by their own feces and with obvious signs of malnutrition, as reported by the body in its Facebook and Instagram profiles.
In total, the agents have filed five sanction proposals to the owner of each of the dogs for several infractions, including the lack of the mandatory license for keeping potentially dangerous animals, failure to comply with the vaccination obligation, and for keeping the animals in poor hygienic and sanitary conditions.
Also for not having the documentation of the card approved and for not being registered in the municipal census of animals.
The Local Police has proceeded to instruct the proceedings and has sent them to the judicial district of Arrecife in which the two owners appear as investigated for an alleged crime of animal abuse.
