The magistrate of the Court of Instruction number 4 of Arrecife has decreed provisional detention, communicated and without bail for Abdelaziz Marzuug, one of those arrested for the fire in an abandoned and occupied house on Hierro street.
After taking his statement, the magistrate considers that there are indications of a crime of attempted homicide and another of arson in an inhabited house, for which he will now be investigated. Regarding the other person arrested by the National Police, he has been released without charges after testifying.
In the fire, three people were injured with various burns, two of them serious. A 52-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man had to be transferred to the Burn Unit of the Virgen del Rocío Hospital, in Seville.
