The Civil Guard has requested judicial authorization to extend the detention of Romina Celeste Núñez's husband, when 72 hours have passed since his arrest. Raúl Díaz Chacón has been transferred this Wednesday to the Courts, when the deadline to be brought before the court was expiring, but the agents' intention is to process and formalize that authorization.
The objective is to continue the searches this Wednesday, after having started the inspection of the home where the couple lived on Tuesday afternoon. The detainee was present at that search, whom they moved in a police vehicle, and the intention would be to return with him to the house, since the inspection has not finished and the investigators were expected to continue it this Wednesday.
In addition, the detainee's work office has also been searched, as well as a vehicle that he rented and that, according to his own confession, he would have used to get rid of his wife's body, throwing it at different points on the coast of Lanzarote.
