The Civil Guard of San Bartolomé has arrested three individuals as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with force, and another was arrested as alleged perpetrator of a crime of receiving stolen goods from some of the effects from the robbery. All four are natives of the island and their initials are J.D.P.L., E.F.T., A.P.T., A.G.D. of ages between 19 and 23 years old. The event took place in the Town Hall of San Bartolomé, in the municipal offices located in the well-known "Casa Cerdeña".
The investigation began at the beginning of April following a complaint at the Local Police Headquarters of the municipality. From that moment on, the agents of the Benemérita took charge of the actions and carried out actions to clarify the facts, identify and arrest the perpetrators.
The first results were obtained at the end of May, when a first stolen object was seized in the home of one of the detainees, within the framework of the home entry and search carried out with the mandatory judicial warrant.
From that finding, the agents were pulling the thread of the defendants' replacements until they managed to recover another of the stolen equipment, which had been bought by one of the detainees, after paying 300 euros.
The recovered effects have been delivered to the San Bartolomé Town Hall and the investigation remains open and is awaiting the practice of new arrests.
