The Family Assistance Service of the National Police Force has arrested a total of 8 people in the first 11 days of July for crimes related to domestic violence in the family environment.

Of those arrested, a press release indicates, 7 are men between the ages of 32 and 53 and the other, a 21-year-old woman, who has a record for the same reason. A police statement specifies that some of those arrested have been identified as Bilmer R.A., a native of Colombia, residing in Lanzarote, 34 years old and with two previous convictions, one for resistance and another for robbery with violence; Enrique S.G., a native of Arrecife, 38 years old and with two previous convictions for crimes against property; Roberto C.P., a native of Ecuador, 53 years old, who also has two previous arrests, one for a crime against traffic safety and another against public health; and the aforementioned Vanesa del Pilar A.R., a native of Arrecife, 21 years old, and with a record for the same reason, mistreatment in the family environment.
