A 45-year-old scooter driver has been seriously injured after colliding with a car in Arrecife. The accident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. this Sunday on León y Castillo Street, near the roundabout of the shopping center in the capital of Lanzarote.
After being alerted by CECOES, two ambulances were dispatched, one medicalized and one with basic life support from the SUC, as well as agents from the Local Police.
Apparently, the injured person was thrown off after the collision with the car. Paramedics assisted him and he presented severe traumatic brain injury. Once stabilized, he was transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
