Playa Chica remains closed to swimming due to the presence of fecal bacteria

Health is waiting for the positive results of this Friday, after which the beach can be reopened during the weekend

Playa Chica or Playa de la Barrilla continues to be closed to swimming this Friday due to the presence of the bacterium Escherichia Coli, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.

This Thursday, the lifeguards of the beach raised the red flag on this beach of Puerto del Carmen, which still remains closed to swimming.

As pointed out by the Emergency Consortium, this Friday, Health is waiting to know the positive results of the analysis report, after which the beach can be reopened to bathers during the weekend.

The beach could be reopened to the public this Saturday, November 18, emergency personnel have highlighted.
