National Police agents have arrested a 36-year-old woman, with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking offense in a nightclub in Arrecife. The detainee, manager of the club and waitress, "distributed the substance from the bar," they explain. Eight packets containing cocaine and 115 euros were seized inside her bag. She has been released on charges.
The police intervention took place "thanks to citizen information received, alerting of a possible sale and consumption of drugs inside a nightclub in Arrecife," the police force explained. As a result of this information, the "corresponding police device" was established and, inside the premises, the agents identified the manager and waitress.
When checking her bag, the police found five white packets and three blue ones, all of them with cocaine inside, and also 115 euros. Thus, the agents seized the drugs and money and carried out her arrest.
Once the police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, who ordered her release on charges. The operation was carried out by agents of the Arrecife Police Station.
