Man arrested for selling drugs at his home in Playa Honda

He also went at night to several hospitality establishments, in whose toilets he also carried out drug transactions

National Police agents have arrested a 53-year-old man with a police record as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health for selling narcotic substances from his home in Playa Honda, to which numerous consumers came.

The arrest occurred after agents became aware during this year of a possible point of sale of narcotic substances located in a house in Playa Honda, according to the National Police in a press release.

This caused a police investigation to be initiated that allowed to verify that the resident of said house sold both hashish and cocaine to numerous individuals who came to the place in their vehicles.

Likewise, the agents were able to verify that the same man went at night to different hospitality establishments on the island to meet with possible buyers, with whom he carried out drug transactions inside the toilets.

In this way, having the mandatory judicial order, the agents carried out a search in said address where they were able to seize 48 grams of hashish and 602 grams of cocaine hidden in various containers, in addition to five precision scales and 8,910 euros in cash.

All of this caused the alleged perpetrator of the events to be arrested for a crime against public health and the corresponding police report was prepared, the arrested person was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
