Emerlan rescued this Thursday morning a hiker who suffered a fall in the Caldera Blanca area in Tinajo. After being activated by the Emergency Coordinating Center 1-1-2, Emerlan workers went to the scene and mobilized a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance and a Height Rescue Vehicle.

Once on the scene, with the support of the rescue vehicle and in coordination with the Local Police of Tinajo, they went to the point where the person was located.

It was a 64-year-old Dutch woman who presented with trauma and injuries to her arm and left leg. The hiker was treated at the scene and transferred to the Emerlan ambulance, where she underwent a second evaluation and was assisted to proceed with evacuating the hospital, thus ending the service.

Emerlan has thanked the collaboration of the Local Police of Tinajo, whose participation was essential for the resolution of the incident.
