The Haría City Council is tendering for the acquisition of a new vehicle for waste collection, a tender that aims to renew the equipment of the municipal street cleaning service.
The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, points out that this contract is in addition to the other tenders launched by the council, such as that for the cleaning of containers. "Our objective is to continue implementing measures aimed at improving street cleaning and waste collection services. One of the essential public services," he adds.
The contract, with a budget of 315,650 euros, includes the acquisition of a compacting collection truck for waste collection suitable for side-loading containers. Among other specifications, it is detailed that the vehicle's body must be at least 21/25 m3, and it must have a lifting capacity of 1,200 kilograms in standard mode.
Likewise, the awarded company must present all documentation relating to the vehicle to corroborate that it complies with current regulations regarding traffic, vehicle circulation, road safety, noise levels, homologations, as well as occupational risk prevention.
Those interested in submitting their bids can do so until December 26 at the electronic headquarters of the Haría City Council.
