Firefighters extinguished the fire in several containers in Teguise on Sunday afternoon, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The fire occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Garojanoy Street in La Villa. Local Police officers and the Emergency Consortium went to the scene.
The fire affected three glass collection containers, one cardboard container and a tree. Emergency personnel extinguished the fire with water and foam and then cooled the containers to prevent reactivations.
