Ryanair flight FR5594, which took off from Lanzarote bound for Edinburgh on October 7, had to be diverted to the Portuguese city of Porto due to a medical emergency on board, according to the network news website Yahoo!news.

The plane took off from César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport at 11:00 a.m., and in a video published on TikTok, you can hear the pilot announce over the loudspeaker that they were going to divert because one of the passengers was feeling unwell.

Furthermore, due to the large fuel load the plane was carrying, the pilot informed passengers that the airfield's firefighters would inspect the brakes once they landed as a safety precaution.

Finally, the health services attended to the sick passenger, and they were disembarked from the plane. The rest of the passengers were able to continue their journey to Edinburgh, where they arrived at approximately 12:45 PM.
