Firefighters acted on Thursday afternoon on Agustín Espinosa street, in Arrecife, because there was a public lighting lamppost that was loose from its base with the risk of falling onto the road, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.

After being alerted by a resident of the capital city, they went to the scene around 6:55 p.m. Next, the firefighters proceeded to secure the lamppost with several ties to a secure element of the facade of a house.
According to reports from the Emergency Consortium, the owner of the house will contact the Arrecife City Council to repair the lamppost.
