Firefighters rescued a woman this Wednesday who had suffered a trauma to her ankle in a difficult-to-access area of Pozo beach, in Yaiza.
As reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium, the events occurred around 1:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, the firefighters verified that she had inflammation and pain in her left ankle and were in charge of placing a splint on her together with a technician from the Canary Islands Emergency Service.
Next, the woman was evacuated to the ambulance. There they took charge of her and, finally, transferred her to the hospital.
