This Monday, June 19th, firefighters rescued a person who had been trapped inside an elevator in their home on La Inés street in Arrecife.
According to reports from the Security and Emergency Consortium, the firefighters (alerted by CECOES) via telephone call, went to the scene to perform a technical assistance opening of the elevator. Once there, the Local Police informed them where the person was, while the technical service personnel from the elevator company arrived.
At that moment, the technician himself made the arrangements for opening the elevator and subsequently, the firefighters verified that the person was fine.
