Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished two fires early this Tuesday morning, one in a house with squatters in Costa Teguise and the other in an abandoned construction site in Arrecife.
The first action took place at 00.38 hours on Avenida del Mar in Costa Teguise, where firefighters went after being alerted by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands. Upon arrival at the scene, where agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police were already present, the firefighters verified that the fire affected furniture and garbage in an occupied house.
The Consortium troops checked the house in case there was anyone inside, finding no one, and proceeded to extinguish the fire. During the extinction of the fire, the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) also appeared at the scene.

Just minutes later, around 00:45 hours, the Consortium was alerted to another fire, this time in an abandoned construction site on Agustín Espinosa street in Arrecife.
The firefighters verified that smoke was coming out of said construction and extinguished two outbreaks located in two different houses, one on top of the other. Agents of the Local and National Police also went to the scene.
