Firefighters extinguished fires in two containers and some stubble in Playa Blanca and Arrecife, respectively, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
In the first case, officers went to Noruega Street in Playa Blanca after being alerted that two glass and organic waste containers were on fire. Upon arrival, they extinguished the flames with jet and spray water.
On the other hand, around 07:20 hours and alerted by the National Police, firefighters also extinguished another fire on the Rambla Medular in Arrecife, near the bus station. In this case, it was some stubble.
Once at the scene, they confirmed that it had already been extinguished by the agents themselves and only the roots of a palm tree were smoldering, so they proceeded to extinguish it with water.
