The Emergency Consortium acted in two fires that took place in an abandoned house in Playa Honda and in a car that burned down early in the morning in La Villa.

The first action took place at 5:05 p.m. this Saturday. The firefighters were activated by the fire in an abandoned house on Guardilama Street in Playa Honda. The fire affected a palm tree, causing burning leaves to fall on several vehicles and the roof of another house, where another outbreak occurred. The Local Police also went to the scene.

The Consortium's personnel proceeded to extinguish the fire with sprayed water, extinguishing the different outbreaks and removing the leaves accumulated in the engine room of a swimming pool that generated a lot of smoke. In addition, they searched the house in case there were people, a search that was negative. Finally, they cleaned the road and the vehicles affected by the incandescent leaves.

At 05:33 this Sunday, the firefighters were activated again by the Civil Guard, this time due to the fire of a vehicle in Antonio Mª Manrique de Teguise street. However, when the firefighters arrived, the car was practically extinguished by its owner with a garden hose. The firefighters proceeded to cool it down. The fire only affected the front of the vehicle. In addition to the Civil Guard, the Local Police also went to the scene.
