The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium had to extinguish this Monday morning three fires in containers in Arrecife and Tahíche.
The first of the fires took place at midnight on El Rafael street, where the firefighters went after being alerted by the Cecoes. The fire affected an organic container, which was unusable, and the front of a van that was parked next to the container.
A few minutes later, around 00:07 hours, the firefighters were alerted of another fire, in this case on Juan de Flandes street in Tahíche, which also affected an organic garbage container that was unusable. The third fire occurred around 4:10 a.m. on La Laguna street in Arrecife, where an organic container also burned, which was unusable.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the firefighters also had to extinguish a fire on Friday in a paper container located on El Berenegal street in Arrecife. In addition, it should be remembered that last weekend, specifically on the night of Saturday, November 25, the firefighters had to extinguish up to six fires in containers in the capital in just over half an hour.
