Firefighters extinguished the fire of two containers in Mácher on Friday morning, according to the Emergency Consortium.
Apparently, the fire originated in some cardboard boxes that were next to the containers. After being alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Local Police and firefighters moved to the location.
When the emergency teams arrived, some people were applying water to the fire of the cardboard boxes located between a glass container and another for organic waste, both affected by the flames.
The firefighters proceeded to cool down the area, while removing the cardboard boxes to extinguish the fire.
