Firefighters have extinguished the fire inside an abandoned house on Hermanos Zerolo street in the capital of Lanzarote. The workers of the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium have had to go to the house twice, specifically this Friday night and on the morning of this Saturday, when another fire broke out again.
According to what they explain from the Consortium, on Friday when they arrived at the place they verified "that it was a garbage fire inside the house and proceeded to extinguish it with water." And this Saturday they point out that "they went to the service with a nurse and the fire was of scrap metal, garbage, appliances, pressure containers, etc. It was extinguished with water and later with foam." In total, according to the firefighters, they spent 10,000 liters of water and 100 liters of foam.
