Firefighters from the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium have extinguished a fire that occurred in a house located on the fifth floor of a building on Alfarera Dorotea Armas street in Arrecife. The Local Police had evacuated the building.
According to the Consortium, once alerted by the Cecoes, they went to the scene of the fire. "Smoke was coming out of the balcony of a house located on the fifth floor, so we entered the house through a window with the help of the ladder truck," they explain.
Once inside, they verified that the fire had occurred in an electrical appliance located on the living room table. They subsequently extinguished the fire and ventilated the house.
