Firefighters extinguished a fire in a pub in the Los Cocoteros Shopping Center in Puerto del Carmen early this Sunday morning. Local Police and Civil Guard officers also went to the scene.
The Local Police evacuated the residents of the premises for safety. The firefighters forced the sliding door of the pub to gain access and locate the source of the fire. Once located, it was extinguished and subsequently the power and water were disconnected. After extinguishing it, the Consortium troops ventilated the pub to evacuate the smoke and toxic gases from the interior. Finally, the area was marked off and the premises were sealed off.
