Firefighters extinguished a fire in a squatted house in Arrecife this Friday morning. The fire took place at around 07.25 hours on Andalucía street in the capital of Lanzarote, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
When they arrived, the firefighters were able to verify that there was a person inside. Local Police officers proceeded to remove the person, who did not require any type of medical assistance.
The origin of the fire was in a sofa in the house that the firefighters extinguished with water. They later ventilated the house.
Local Police agents also went to the scene.
