Fire in an abandoned building in Arrecife suffocated

Firefighters, as well as agents of the Local Police and the National Police, moved to the scene.

The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium have extinguished a fire in an abandoned building on José Hernández Almeida street in Arrecife. The events date back to 10:44 a.m. this Wednesday, according to the Consortium.

After being alerted by the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES), the firefighters observed a small fire coming from abandoned furniture and garbage in an abandoned construction site. Once on the scene, they proceeded to extinguish the fire, using atomized and jet water.

Agents of the Local Police and the National Police also traveled to the scene. Once extinguished, the firefighters ended the service and returned to the Central Park.
