Emerlan came to the aid of a 60-year-old cyclist who suffered a fall with her bicycle around 11:40 a.m. this Monday in the Playa Lambra area, in La Graciosa.
Once in the area, the volunteers attended to the injured woman who had injuries to her right arm and right leg. After providing assistance at the scene and, due to the state of the roads, they carried out a slow and arduous transfer to the local clinic, where the island's medical team provided her with health care and analgesia.
Finally, at 2:00 p.m., the evacuation protocol to the island of Lanzarote was activated. The SUC paramedics at the Órzola dock transferred the affected woman to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
