An electric vehicle caught fire in the early hours of Sunday morning in the parking lot of a hotel in Playa Blanca, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The incident occurred at around three in the morning on Maciot Street in the tourist town. Once alerted, Local Police officers and firefighters went to the scene.
The emergency teams proceeded to place the emergency electrical inhibitor plug, then cooled the outbreak of fire that was in the front left next to the vehicle's wheel. When they had the outbreak extinguished, they proceeded to disconnect all the vehicle's batteries, both the 12v and the 360v battery disconnector.
