Arrested in a stolen car after stealing objects from the Nazaret socio-cultural center

Two agents, then patrolling the streets of the town of Tahíche,

received at 07:15 this Tuesday the notice of an apparently minor traffic accident that occurred at the roundabout at the confluence of Avenida Campoamor and Juan Ramón Jiménez, streets of the town of Tahíche. Once they arrived at the place, they verified that a white Ford Fiesta vehicle was involved in an accident in the garden area. Coinciding with the arrival of the police, two people left the vehicle and ran towards the Tahíche Volcano area.

The foot chase extended for about 100 meters, concluding with the arrest of the two individuals, who had small bleeding cuts on their hands and arms. The subsequent ocular inspection of the vehicle led to the finding that it was stolen and belonged to a resident of Arrecife who was already preparing to report its disappearance.

Inside the car, scattered everywhere, appeared bottles of alcohol, chocolates, a digital television receiver and a box with coins. The investigations later determined that these objects had been stolen during the early morning from the socio-cultural center of Nazaret.

The detainees, J.P.S., with address in Tahíche, and F.L.F., resident in

Arrecife, were placed at the disposal of the court once arrested for an

alleged crime of theft and use of vehicles.
