A 60-year-old cyclist has been seriously injured after falling on the LZ-703, arriving at Las Breñas, in the municipality of Yaiza.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:45 this Wednesday. Once CECOES was alerted, two ambulances, one basic life support and one medicalized, from the SUC and agents of the Civil Guard were dispatched.
The healthcare personnel provided initial assistance to the affected individual, who presented with a severe head trauma. Initially, he was transferred to the Yaiza health center from where, once stabilized, he was evacuated to the Molina Orosa hospital in a medicalized SUC ambulance.
